OUR STORY
Rising Stars' Academy (RSA) was established in 2006 with the main purpose of ensuring that every child is provided exposure to high-quality services aimed to enrich their lives. Beginning in 2008, RSA started forging vital relationships with other community resources that have similar goals. As a result, RSA has had the opportunity of providing social services to over a thousand at-risk families. To date, RSA prides itself on embedding a growth mindset into individuals by utilizing a comprehensive approach to augmenting the mental well-being of the families we assist.
RSA's mission is to provide social services to both children and adults in an attempt to be part of the puzzle that restores our community with not only knowledge but love as well.

RSA's vision is to provide quality services to families within Indiana and its neighboring states, to restore Northwest Indiana, and ultimately to improve the quality of life for Indiana and its neighboring states as a whole. It is our civic responsibility to do so.

Originated from East Chicago, Indiana. Holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a master's degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and a certificate as a Certified Trauma Professional. Has eight years of teaching experience in elementary and middle school settings.

Chief Financial Officer
Originated from Gary, Indiana. Holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Experienced in delegating home-based services to disadvantaged families to maintain the family unit.
